Hong Kong --> Vancouver --> Saskatoon

Day 1 

July 07, 2023      Hong Kong to Sakastoon! Here we go!!

Today was the first day of the trip. We were so excited. After saying Goodbye to our parents, we were heading towards our flight to Vancouver. We were all looking forward to the Immersion Programme.  


However, when we got onto the airplane and tried to get some sleep during the 12-hour flight. Two babies cried and some of us couldn’t sleep well.



July 07, 2023

We met Mr. McDonald at the Vancouver International Airport. He was so nice, fun and friendly. We always laughed because of his jokes.  



Mr. McDonald asked us to explore the airport and find some interesting facts. In the airport, I ‘discovered’ that the rubbish bin would offer tissues and a throwing mouth at the same time. I had never seen that before.



Finally, we met our host family. They had been waiting for us for a long time.

Ninth school day + Hip Hop Dance

Day 14 In the afternoon, we got the subway for lunch!!! It smelled so good!!!   After lunch, we counted the number of different families. Guess what  Daisy found 56  of them   Then, we watched the true story of 3 little pigs and we started to write the story in a different perspective. Three of us chose to write Little Red Riding Hood.  After that, we went to a hip-hop dance studio. Although it was hard, we tried our best. The most impressive part was that we all did it well because all of us had tried so hard instead of giving it up.   After that, we were worn out because dancing hip hop took a lot of energy. We went to bed for a nap. Then, we got spaghetti tonight. It tasted so good. After dinner, Carmen and Daisy went for a walk and I started thinking about the video project. Seventh school day + Cinema

Day 12 In the morning, we went to school as usual.                                  In the afternoon, we went to a cinema to watch the movie  "Indiana Jones".  It was really interesting because it was showing the past of Indiana Jones. He works as a college professor.  His class doesn’t like listening to him.He was old and was about to retire.After he left the college, a student of his followed him into a bar and stuck with him by pretending to be friendly and stole something from him.         For dinner, we ate two hotdogs  with ketchup and mustard. Eighth school day + Baseball + Sask Rattlers ~~~

  Day 13 July, 19 2023 I woke up at 5:30 and finished my journal together with the story writing.   After finishing my homework, we went to the university and had regular lessons. We read Harry Potter as usual. We had to read the dialogue with feelings.    After lunch, we played baseball with Mrs. Boudais and her daughter. We all had lots of fun.
