Fourth school day + Dream Catcher


Day 7  


July 13, 2023

Today, our host mum cooked fried rice for us for breakfast. She was very nice.

First, we had a group discussion with Mr. McDonald. We talked about the differences between Hong Kong and Canada. After the discussion, Mrs. Baudais read Harry Potter with us again. The junior form students and senior form students had a friendly game. Let’s see who could read with more emotions.

Finally, the junior form won!!!!

After lunch, we learned about what an acrostic poem was and how to write an acrostic poem. It was an interesting way to write a poem.



We then started making our posters again. All the posters were very nice.

After then, we started making the Dream Catcher. Dream Catcher is used to catch bad dreams before they get into your dreams. But we had not finished them yet. We would finish them tomorrow.

 


When we got back home, guess what, we had pizza for dinner!!!!!

We had been waiting for a long time.

We finally got it!!!

Ninth school day + Hip Hop Dance

Day 14 In the afternoon, we got the subway for lunch!!! It smelled so good!!!   After lunch, we counted the number of different families. Guess what  Daisy found 56  of them   Then, we watched the true story of 3 little pigs and we started to write the story in a different perspective. Three of us chose to write Little Red Riding Hood.  After that, we went to a hip-hop dance studio. Although it was hard, we tried our best. The most impressive part was that we all did it well because all of us had tried so hard instead of giving it up.   After that, we were worn out because dancing hip hop took a lot of energy. We went to bed for a nap. Then, we got spaghetti tonight. It tasted so good. After dinner, Carmen and Daisy went for a walk and I started thinking about the video project. Seventh school day + Cinema

Day 12 In the morning, we went to school as usual.                                  In the afternoon, we went to a cinema to watch the movie  "Indiana Jones".  It was really interesting because it was showing the past of Indiana Jones. He works as a college professor.  His class doesn’t like listening to him.He was old and was about to retire.After he left the college, a student of his followed him into a bar and stuck with him by pretending to be friendly and stole something from him.         For dinner, we ate two hotdogs  with ketchup and mustard. Eighth school day + Baseball + Sask Rattlers ~~~

  Day 13 July, 19 2023 I woke up at 5:30 and finished my journal together with the story writing.   After finishing my homework, we went to the university and had regular lessons. We read Harry Potter as usual. We had to read the dialogue with feelings.    After lunch, we played baseball with Mrs. Boudais and her daughter. We all had lots of fun.
