A day with host family again!

16th July, 2023

     This morning we went to FUDDRUCKERS for breakfast. We ate some pancakes 🥞with butter and syrup on it. Also, we had crispy bacon🥓, tasty sausages, eggs 🍳and some fried potato cubes🥔.


     After breakfast, we went to a mall to buy some souvenirs and more. I bought a cute grey shirt with a star on it. We also bought some cute souvenirs at Dollarama and we also went to a store to buy earrings and got 3 free for buying 3. While walking in a store, we saw a kid trying bite a random mannequins leg and the mannequin ended up falling down on a clothing rack and almost crushed someone🤡.

     For dinner, we ate some rice and some air fried chicken legs 🍗and wings. We ate some mini cakes 🧁 with frosting on it for dessert.

16th July 2023


Today we went shopping downtown. All of us bought souvenirs for our families.Then, we had our lunch in the Central Business District. I got a drink and a Japanese Beef rice.Seriously! It is very expensive!!!It took me almost $20CAD to get a meal and it have a small amount which means I need to buy something else to fill up my stomach.Then we went back home and all of us slept for at least 3 hours. After dinner, we hang out for a walk. We saw a rabbit and all of us were chasing them around the park. Then, nothing happened ~~That’s it for our free day with our host family.

16th July, 2023

Today was a cloudy day to hang out with Mr. McDonald and Mrs. McDonald! We had lots of fun time with them!


In the morning, Mr. McDonald drove us to a very huge market called Costco. Mr. McDonald told us many funny jokes that made us laugh a lot. We also chatted a lot and it was like he was joking around for the whole day! We were full of happiness!

When we arrived at Costco, both of us were shocked to see such a huge mark! Inside the market had lots of food to try and taste, it was very delicious! And the food there was an extra size of Hong Kong food as we didn't expect! We both bought a black hoodie and a tasty chip. After we bought our things, Mr. McDonald and Mrs. McDonald both treated us to ice creams, we were pleased♡ The ice cream was really huge! 

                  

     

                            


                                

      

         
Afterwards, we went to the Berry Barn. We took pictures there and Cynthia bought a maple syrup which looks really good. We saw lots of Canadian berry trees and we picked some of them and tasted, they're very fresh and soft. We had picked many because they were delicious! There was a lot of difference between the berries in Saskatoon and those berries in Hong Kong.

  

                                

After the Berry Barn, we went to play Golf. Mr. McDonald and Mrs. McDonald taught us how to do well and properly in playing Golf. Although sometimes we couldn't balance our actions well, we still tried our best. Cynthia was so cool, she was really good at Golf, she learned so fast and she did very well! My last shot was amazingly good! Mr. McDonald took some pictures and videos of us!

Day 14 In the afternoon, we got the subway for lunch!!! It smelled so good!!!   After lunch, we counted the number of different families. Guess what  Daisy found 56  of them   Then, we watched the true story of 3 little pigs and we started to write the story in a different perspective. Three of us chose to write Little Red Riding Hood.  After that, we went to a hip-hop dance studio. Although it was hard, we tried our best. The most impressive part was that we all did it well because all of us had tried so hard instead of giving it up.   After that, we were worn out because dancing hip hop took a lot of energy. We went to bed for a nap. Then, we got spaghetti tonight. It tasted so good. After dinner, Carmen and Daisy went for a walk and I started thinking about the video project. Eighth school day + Baseball + Sask Rattlers ~~~

  Day 13 July, 19 2023 I woke up at 5:30 and finished my journal together with the story writing.   After finishing my homework, we went to the university and had regular lessons. We read Harry Potter as usual. We had to read the dialogue with feelings.    After lunch, we played baseball with Mrs. Boudais and her daughter. We all had lots of fun. Seventh school day + Cinema

Day 12 In the morning, we went to school as usual.                                  In the afternoon, we went to a cinema to watch the movie  "Indiana Jones".  It was really interesting because it was showing the past of Indiana Jones. He works as a college professor.  His class doesn’t like listening to him.He was old and was about to retire.After he left the college, a student of his followed him into a bar and stuck with him by pretending to be friendly and stole something from him.         For dinner, we ate two hotdogs  with ketchup and mustard.
